Pieter joined Codan as Chief Operating Officer in June 2025. He brings more than 20 years of international experience across the aerospace, automotive, and advanced manufacturing sectors, with leadership roles in general management, production, supply chain, and engineering across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
Prior to joining Codan, Pieter held senior leadership roles with global engineering firm GKN, where he led operations for a major German manufacturing site, launched a global industrial services business, and developed the company’s first group-wide innovation capability. He has also supported high-growth technology businesses to scale operations and commercialise advanced technologies across aerospace, defence, biotech, and consumer sectors.
At Codan, Pieter is responsible for strategic planning and business growth, operational leadership across manufacturing and supply chain, IT and digital enablement, continuous improvement, and cross-functional initiatives that support Codan’s strategic goals.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) from RMIT and is based at Codan’s Head Office in Mawson Lakes, South Australia.
